Eruca Sativa

Commonly knows as salad rocket, rucola, rugula or colewort, it's an edible annual plant. The Latin adjective sativa derives from "satum", which derives from "sero", meaning "to sow", because the seeds of the plant were sown in gardens. Basal leaves are oblong and have green colour. Upper flowers are narrower than the basal ones, they are hermaphrodite with white cream petals. The leaves of Eruca sativa have a bitter and spicy taste.

Courgettes

It belongs to the species of Cucurbita pepo. Its fruits are called courgettes which are cylindrical or round, with white flesh, firm and full of seeds and green (dark or light) peel.
